And this is how we made it:
3 mm copper, two bars twisted together. And then the same again, then the two bars twisted together again. The ends TIG welded… – A fusion welding process in which the end pieces are fused together in an arc. We use helium as the inert gas here, which enables us to produce an extremely precise weld seam – only the copper is melted here, so no other metal is added. Copper and nothing but copper is used in this piece of jewelry.

Then we clean the choker in sulphuric acid, remove the remaining soft oxide layer with running water and a brass brush. Rough forging, polishing, deburring the end pieces. Forged into the round shape, polished… and finished,,, … and…..and then packed, put in a bubble envelope, address label with the tracking code on it … and off to the post office … and then the choker will soon be with you.

The Devi choker is made as a torque, so that the two end pieces are worn to the front, and as the choker was made exactly to your specifications, it fits exactly at the base of the neck. In ancient times, torques, a choker that is open at the front, were widespread. The term lat torquere, meaning to twist, has therefore been applied to this choker: a twisted double duo encloses your neck, the opening with the two forged end pieces is worn to the front. A very striking piece of jewelry, not suitable for everyday wear. Wearable rather for festive occasions, completely unsuitable for sports such as tennis or golf

Copper is good for you… Although this has not been scientifically proven, many people report that copper helps with inflammation, muscle tension, joint pain and rheumatic complaints. Determining the right size: A good size is your clothing size, as accurate as possible, e.g. 38 / 40, even better whole numbers, e.g. 37 or 39… If you also enter your neck circumference in the “Remarks” field, this is very helpful for production. Sometimes the correct size is only possible after trying it on, so the same applies here as for all our jewelry. Wear this choker (as well as all other pieces of jewelry) to try it on, no problem with exchange or return. Exchange or return also for worn pieces of jewelry, even with signs of wear.
