Absolutely and completely handcrafted, a necklace in which each link is individually made, hand-forged and individually finely ground and polished. Forged by hand from 3 mm thick round copper material: one hook. 14 chain links, each end formed into an open eyelet. Then 15 chain links oval TIG welded – a fusion welding process in which the end pieces are fused together in an electric arc. We use helium as the inert gas here, which enables us to produce an extremely precise weld seam – only the copper is melted here, so no other metal is added. Copper and nothing but copper is used in this piece of jewelry. Cleaning the 14 welded parts, then rolling each of the 29 parts to 2.4 mm with our Durston roller. Fine grinding and polishing of all the individual parts, then assembling the entire necklace, checking, and then … and then: wrapped, put in a bubble envelope, address label with the tracking code on it … and off to the post office … and then the copper necklace will soon be in your letterbox.

The Niniane copper necklace, somewhat finer in appearance than the Morgaine necklace, is clearly hand-forged, with each link showing clear signs of forging. A striking accessory, certainly an eye-catcher, a talking point. Made to be worn for many years, it can withstand the toughest use… breaking load of over 10 kg, so: Dat Ding Hält… looks absolutely handmade. Suitable for everyday use. Wearable for festive occasions as well as with jeans and a T-shirt… Limited suitability for sports such as tennis or golf
